Compliance Specialist
Medicat is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Compliance Specialist.
Job Overview
As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the review of electronically submitted documents from students, ensuring compliance with client-specific criteria. The role involves verifying the authenticity of required immunization documents, such as immunization records, lab titers, clinic notes, etc. In addition, you will securely correspond with students regarding compliance status, request additional information, and address inquiries using our specialized software.
This position is an entry-level position with an opportunity to grow into more advanced roles within our Application Support team, which serves as the primary support team for client inquiries related to the entire suite of Medicat solutions.
Role & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough reviews of submitted documents to determine compliance with client-specific criteria.

Verify the authenticity of required immunization documents, including immunization records, lab titers, clinic notes, etc.

Communicate securely and professionally with students to convey compliance status, request additional information, and address any inquiries through our specialized software.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date compliance records are maintained.

Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to student inquiries and resolving compliance-related issues.

Maintain confidentiality and data security in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
- High attention to detail and accuracy in document review.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to navigate and utilize specialized software for correspondence and data management.
- Familiarity with compliance-related processes, especially in an educational or healthcare setting, is preferred.
- Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma; additional education or certification in healthcare administration, compliance, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a records management or compliance-related role, especially in a higher education setting, is advantageous.
- Experience with customer service ticketing systems is a plus.
