Immunization Records Specialist

Full-Time Temporary Position

Medicat is looking for outstanding individuals with Medicat end user experience to fill temporary Immunization Records Specialist positions. Medicat Services, LLC provides turn-key, paperless immunization compliance and tracking services for college allied health programs under the ImmuniTrax™ trade name.

New allied health enrollees enter compliance data and submit required forms and documentation online through a portal or by secure FAX.  Using Medicat’s industry-leading Immunization Compliance Software, our staff tracks and manages the process of initial data submission, reviews the submitted documentation for accuracy and verifies that all client-specific compliance criteria have been met.

Immunization Records Specialist

  • Full-Time Position (average of 40 hours/week)
  • Temporary (August through September)

  • Hourly Wage – dependent upon credentials & experience

Role and Responsibilities

  • Collect multiple electronically submitted documents from students.
  • Review all submitted documents to determine if they meet client-specific criteria.
  • Verify the authenticity of required immunization documents (immunization records, lab titers, clinic notes, etc.)
  • Securely correspond with students regarding compliance status, need for additional information or answering questions using Medicat Services’ software.
  • Accurately track time spent.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to detect even minor inconsistency in submitted information

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining productivity and efficiency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team player who also works well independently

Preferred Skills

  • Current Medicat user
  • Clinical credentials (MA, Nurse, etc.)
  • Experience in a clinical setting
  • Allied Health coursework
