EHR Training Specialist

Responsibilities
- Responsible for ongoing training needs for all Medicat clients, including training and transitioning clients to new and updated versions of software
- Implement all add-on items (new clinics, lab interfaces, modules, (i.e., SCI, MPP)) to existing client base
- Assist, support, and provide knowledgeable solutions to our valued customers while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations for options to maximize system usage
- Design and configure the software in the most efficient manner to support the needs of Medicat clients
- Thorough client follow-up to ensure satisfaction, understanding, and internal efficiencies
- Lead client “Lunch & Learn” webinars and presentations at client workshops and conferences
- Serve as subject matter expert and maintain a thorough understanding of all Medicat products
- Promote and deliver onsite and web-based trainings and consultations to existing client base
- Demonstrate the ability to work with various cross-organizational areas (i.e., clinical, billing, IT, etc.) to meet the needs of clients and ensure use of best practices
- Assist with testing of new product offerings and troubleshooting all aspects of the EHR system
- Conduct internal staff trainings as needed
- Contribute as a positive member of the Training, Implementation, and Education (TIE) Department by supporting all members of the team in a productive and constructive manner
Required Skills
- 5+ years of EMR/PM system account management experience for a vendor or as a clinic “super user”
- Deep practical knowledge of clinic workflow, practice administration for medical/counseling/sports medicine practices
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Excellent listening and training skills, both web-based and on-site
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills, in both small and large group settings
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining productivity and efficiency
- Ability to prioritize, trouble-shoot, and resolve issues
- Strong client relationship-building skills, including follow-through, tracking, and closure
- Team player with strong self-initiative and problem-solving skills
Must be able to travel up to 40% and work a flexible schedule
